     Club opening / registration day for the Summer Track and Field Season

14 October (Tuesday) Track and Field season club nights start. 5:30pm Papanui High School, Langdons Rd.

18 October First Track and Field Interclub - Rawhiti Domain. Children 9:00am, Seniors 1:30pm.

19 October (Sunday) CLOSING DAY AND PRIZEGIVING for the Harrier season – Papanui RSA. 4pm. There will be a prize giving followed by a social hour.

     (Sunday) Crater Rim Trail Run – Start 8:00am, Port Hills clubrooms, Hansens Park.

  • The minimum age to take part is 14 (junior relay) and 17 (senior relay) as at 31/12/2014
  • There are several grade options.  The NZ Road Relay champs are for registered athletes only.  Local grade teams may include social members and un-registered athletes
  • Registered athletes - the entry fee is covered by your club subscription (you must be registered before entries close
  • Un-Registered athletes will need to pay $38.00 (which comprises the race entry fee of $28.00 and the un-registered athlete fee of $10.00).  The club will contact you prior to the event.  If you wish to pay by internet banking please contact us for account details
  • The selectors will make every effort to include all interested athletes, and on their preferred lap.  However, they may place an athlete/s on a lap where they will perform best for the team.  Final athlete-lap placement is at the selectors’ discretion
  • A club social will follow the racing and event afternoon tea/prize giving in Akaroa
