2021/22 Season Junior Open Day, Sunday October 10, 1.00-3.00pm

Everyone is welcome to attend our pre-season introductory Open Day which kicks off the 2021/22 athletics calendar for Papanui TocH Juniors this year. It is scheduled for the middle Sunday of the school holidays, which is a week prior to the beginning of the Canterbury Athletics interclub competition season.

PTocH Open Days are a great opportunity for your child to explore athletics.

The Open Day will run from 1pm with introductory coaching, races and competitions for children aged 5 to 14. There will be a sausage sizzle operating and children will get the chance to try out various athletic events and meet some of our athletes and organisers. We will have our registration team on site to help you register for the season and talk you through the registration process and coaching options available.

Our annual Open Days are great opportunities for your children to get into athletics, so come along and enjoy the fun! If you are interested in getting involved as a volunteer coach or organiser, come and talk to the team. We have plenty of opportunities to participate in our family-friendly club.

Open Club Night -- Tuesday, October 12, 5:30pm-7:00pm

On the last Tuesday of the school holidays, we are running an open club night where anyone and everyone is welcome to come along and join in with coaching sessions, races and competitions.

Our organising committee will be available at the club night so if you have any questions there will be plenty of people available to lend a hand and show you around. We would love to show you and your child what Papanui TocH can offer, so come along and have a go.

Athletics NZ Ranking update

We have updated the Senior athletes ranking page to cover all of 2019 and 2020. Previously this listing was on a season by season basis, but we have now adopted the calendar year-based format used by Athletics NZ. Papanui Toc H athletes who have achieved Top 20 Open ranking, irrespective of their age grade, are given prominence, while the balance are ordered in their age grade ranking.
